The Yoga Collective Central Coast aims to provide many Wellness programs to maintain the health and wellbeing of our local community. Mums and bubs yoga provides a great way to reconnect, recover from your pregnancy and birth and enhance your physical and mental wellbeing.  As a new mum we spend a lot of our time attending to our baby’s needs and it can be consuming and hard to carve out time for ourselves.

Our mums and bubs courses are designed to:

– Foster connection with other mums.
– Practice gentle yoga poses that work to realign, regain strength, stability and connection with your body and baby.
– Focus on gradually regaining strength in the pelvic floor muscles.
– Gentle stretching for bub, and special bonding time.
– Explore how to bring your yoga off the mat with your little one.
– Learn breathing techniques to aid in relaxation
– Learn to soften and find stillness amongst the chaos.
– Practice within a safe and supportive environment.

Please bring your own yoga mat if you have one a play mat, car capsule or rocker and toys if appropriate for your baby.
Unfortunately we do not have room for prams in the building.

As this is a mums and bubs class, there is no expectation of how your baby should behave. It is natural for babies to cry, require feeding and changing and you are invited to attend to bubs needs as they arise and rejoin us when you can.

TYC is a COVID safe registered business we apply all social distancing rules to our studio, we have our mats at 4 square meters apart, offer hand sanitiser and masks if you with to use them. You are not required to wear a mask, however if you wish to wear one we can provide you with one. All students are required to sign in using the QR code. Strict cleaning protocols are in place.
Please bring your own mat if you own one, a towel to use over bolsters and for Bubs.
Please be aware we are on the second floor with stair access only. We ask you leave your pram in the car and bring the carrier up only. Thank you.

About the Teacher :
Jacqui Farrell.
Jacqui is a mother of two young children and personally knows the benefits of yoga in early motherhood. Yoga provides an opportunity to connect to ourselves and can provide us with a fresh perspective on the challenges that we are presented with and reminds us to respond mindfully and with humility.
