Yin

Benefits: Health / Flexibility / Mindfulness / Injury support / Stress Relief

Yin Yoga is a slow paced passive practice, done mainly all on the floor with no standing postures. It is based on Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM). The practice is designed to apply moderate pressure on the connective tissue (Fascia) in the body. The Yin Yoga sequences are designed to focus on different major Fascia and Meridian lines and the seasonal set of the body’s organs in focus. The poses are held longer to use gravity to open up the Fascia lines that relate to the same fundamental Meridian lines acupuncture uses.

It can restore flexibility in the body, and can help to repair certain injuries, plus balance the endocrine and nervours system. The bonus of Yin Yoga is it provides you with incredible relaxation and meditation mindfulness tools to help you deal with stress.
