We are closed, for now…

Namaste our friends in Yoga.

It with sadness but with the necessary knowledge, we have decided to close the doors to The Collective for the immediate short term effectively as of Saturday March 21st.

The Australian Government has announced new social distancing measures to slow the spread of coronavirus. For gatherings of fewer than 100 people in an enclosed space, the Government is now recommending four square metres per person. We fully support measures that prioritise the health and safety of our community, and feel this is the right decision for now as we take care of ourselves, our families, and the vulnerable members of our community.

Over the coming weeks, we will be exploring ways we can continue to share the practice of yoga with you from the safety of our homes. Regarding students who have an existing class pass, please be assured that your class credits are currently frozen until we provide an alternative for your yoga practice, or return to the studio when advised by the health authorities. We will continue to keep you informed as we navigate this challenging chapter. Despite the closure of the studio for now, we hope you continue your self-practice at home. Remember what you have learnt in class: set a daily intention, listen to your breath, connect with your body and move mindfully.

Use this time for self-reflection. Be with your families. Love each other immensely.
